Rock n’ Roll is just another outlet to show you what’s inside of my head I call you up, tell you come on over, but I don’t expect you to follow I make my own rules, you can’t really even choose which way my crazy world goes Life it seems, is just another broken dream, cause I can’t trust nobody Some days I feel tame But I’m usually insane And insanity is so fun It’s so hard to explain Why I’m feelin insane But insanity is so fun Insanity is fun Oooh My Soul! Right and left I don’t even try my best I'm treating the world like a playground I can’t agree, it doesn’t match my feelings There’s no cure or vaccine I make my own rules you can’t really even choose Which way your freedoms are decided Life it seems is just a new reality Of the twisted games I’m playing I’m at war with the whole world or always after some girl Oh insanity is so fun It’s gonna work so nicely, cause I’ll plead politely Insanity is so fun Insanity is fun

No more lyin’ but so much pain She told me, honey don’t play this game I said youre still the fool even if you win or lose It’s up to you to make the first move How about a round of chance? Look into my eyes you can’t see my disguise There's Nothing to hide but The mystery, possibly Then I must surmise it seems to be, that you’re the only kind of girl for me You know I can’t try, I cry inside Soon I am gonna have to realize I got to Rock n’ Roll, forget what love is I got to Rock n’ Roll, forget what love is My broken heart and my rattled mind left me with nothing more to say Except to Rock n roll forget what love is It’s cold inside, and I feel the rain The roof is leaking, and then I hear my name In my head and there you remain All kinds of thoughts are running away I’m looking for someone, not sure who Or maybe I’m still looking for myself I’m Independent I’m self reliant Sure it can change, but that’s a bold claim I thought it’s you, but that’s untrue, It’s really just my brain No one knows, my sorrow grows It’s getting so much more insane Got to Rock n’ Roll, forget what love is I’m learning the game and I’m making my way I got to Rock n’ Roll, forget what love is Push her away don’t lead me astray Your bedroom eyes were only lies and now I know to walk away and just Rock n’ Roll Forget what love is! Break my heart! The novel of our lives is never finished being written Please don’t leave me this way Dwelling on the past I’m the one who must move along Please don’t lead me on I’m just trying to read past the chapter Of where it all went wrong You cannot be blamed Yet I still feel ashamed Cold and inconsolable Loneliness always remains The love was there, It better be gone Cause if it’s still there things will surely go wrong Talking and laughing conversing in stride Until I saw the picture of him by your side I knew then to let it go Or risk digging a bigger hole You cannot be changed Yet I still feel the same Looking through a jaded windowpane Every time you’re with a guy My jealousy’s burnin inside I tell myself, I’ll be alright But every time I see you, I see the reasons why I got to Rock n’ Roll, forget what love is I’m learning the game and I’m making my way I got to Rock n’ Roll, forget what love is My fragile heart the lines on my face, sullied the emotions that I once made now I have to Rock n’ Roll, forget what love is Girl you’re driving me mad and I want you so bad

I met a girl from way down in LA She was singing and was rockin’ but she could not stay She didn’t want to know me didn’t care who I was Ceased her attention when she saw My puppy-dog eyes that were pleadin’ for love Oh the girl is a rocker A sly movin’ talker That girl don’t give a damn She pounces on her pray rat And much to my chagrin I fell in love with an Ali Cat A dirty old rat is all I’ll be Ain’t no woman out there seen with men like me I Ain’t no seducer And I didn’t have no brother To teach me anything Oh the girl is a rocker A sly movin’ talker That girl don’t give a damn She pounces on her pray rat And much to my chagrin I fell in love with an Ali Cat When I met this girl There was nothing I could do Yeah, when I met this girl You see man nothings new Nothings new...

Hot Damn! Hot Damn! Hot Damn! Hot Damn! This is a story about the first time I ever fell in love, ladies and gentlemen It’s a mystical feeling, when I laid my eyes on that California girl, I say. Now, I didn’t think too much about her in the beginning, I was happy just being friends But I felt her seductive power caress me when I felt her drunkin lips kiss me that night, (You see where this is going right?) Hot Damn! Ooh yeah Hot Damn, I gotta lotta lovin’ baby, but I can’t seem to give it away yeah You gotta stop pretendin’ baby, try to understand I wanna be your man, TONIGHT! I tell you, I ain’t seen no one like her in my entire life The more I looked at her, the more my mind was hers for the taking She revved up my engine ‘til it burst into flames It was just like a car crash, nobody was left unscathed Hot Damn, I gotta lotta lovin’ baby, but I can’t seem to give it away yeah You gotta stop pretendin’ baby, try to understand I wanna be your man, TONIGHT! I told this poor girl you know babe, I spend most of my nights in good company, Yet I must admit I feel lonelier than I would like to be It’s a shame you walk away right now ‘Cause I feel a lot of heat between us baby Hot damn, I gotta lotta lovin’ baby, but I can’t seem to give it away yeah You gotta stop pretendin’ baby, try to understand I wanna be your man tonight! tonight! tonight! Ooh yeah Hot Damn! haha

Never ceasing, never slowing, never speeding. Moving at a constant pace without regard to anything or anybody. So what if one’s actions lead to consequences. Good and evil is a grey line. Undefined. What one man’s good is another man’s evil. You cannot please everyone. So focus on yourself. What makes you happy? Nothing. Time does not care what makes me happy. Nobody cares what makes me happy. Perhaps some people do, but that matters not as well. It is ultimately up to me to decide how I feel about things, so I have chosen to be numb. Distant. Lonely. And I am good with that. You are a danger to others. You are guilty. You have been sentenced to protect others from yourself. Asking for help is obsolete, for you will only show others the deamons that lie within you. Nobody wants to see the truth. They all want to escape from it. Music, television, movies, art in general, have no purpose but to escape from the real world. Don’t create art that tells people what to think. Create art to stop people from thinking in the first place. One Man Democracy. I Gotta Know. People do not take kindly toward being told what to do and how to think. Give us fluff. Dirty laundry. Bullshit. That’s what sells. He was right. Except I believe in using music as an agenda. I want to tell people what to do and how to think. I do not care if they hate me or love me for it. I just want them to have an opinion. Any publicity is good publicity. It worked for Trump. It worked for #metoo. People use the arts to get across their ideas about reality. About what’s right and wrong with the world. In the back of their minds however, they know it is not that simple. There is no such thing as right and wrong. The concept is but an undefined line. 1/0, etc. Chapter 1- Discovery of THE Dead Man: Denial I am alone in my apartment. Sleeping. An empty glass that used to contain whiskey on the rocks on my bedside next to a glass of water. The time approaches 5 am. I’ve only been asleep for two hours because I am a night owl. I always have my cell phone in do not disturb mode, so I never received the calls for help. Terrifying calls and voicemail awaited for me as I arose from my bed circa 9 am. I do not do well with crying. A grown woman sobbed on the other side of the line, and that gave me reason to get up from the comfort of my bed, which was something I usually let the thought of a pleasant morning cup of coffee do. A break from routine. I needed that. Variety is the spice of life. I made my morning cup of coffee anyway before going to my agitated friends who were gathering in the house across the street. I had nothing to say that hadn’t already been said or thought already. All quite futile indeed. However, eerie silence in company still elicits feelings of a warm embrace. Perhaps it because no words were spoken and instead, only hugs were exchanged. After exchanging warm embraces with the ten friends of mine, my shirt became stained with tears from everyone sobbing on my shoulders, mixing in with the sweat caused by the tension trapped in the room. Perhaps this is what claustrophobia feels like. I looked at all the faces in the room and watched as more of my friends entered meekly into the house. Some were clueless, some were solemn, and were in the process for breaking down whilst others were already broken. Most of them were going to take the day off, few people, such as myself, were planning on continuing on with our lives. Time's arrow marches forward. Never ceasing, never slowing, never speeding. Moving at a constant pace without regard to anything or anybody. There is always work to be done. Sitting diagonally from me, I saw a man who had kept his composure for as long as I had been there excuse himself and brush his teeth. It was still rather early in the morning. The shock of the news makes people forget their routines. I thought I was doing pretty well as I had already brushed teeth and made my coffee as usual. Time’s arrow marches forward. The man appeared to be falling behind time, as his routine had gotten thrown off. I decided to check on him. A large rectangular mirror loomed over the sink where he brushed his teeth. Noticing my reflection in his peripheral vision, the man quickly switched his brief gaze to himself, and he too, broke down. I maintain my composure. I looked into the scene that played before me in the mirror. A Broken man, attempting to catch up with time’s arrow, with ugly tears and a red face. The man lost control, but I had not. I then looked at myself, and saw a man without feeling, stubborn, inexorable. Perhaps, a terrible person. A stranger. Yet, all I saw of myself, is myself. The terrible person without feelings. The stranger. Me. Yet, the mirror could not reflect what was inside me. A natural disaster. Outside, the terrible person without feelings was the eye of the storm. Inside, was the full force of the storm. “Yes.” I assured myself. “I am still human.”
